How it began
The Geoff Ogilvy Foundation is Geoff’s initiative with the Board chaired by Brian McNamee of CSL fame and younger brother of Paul, the tennis player and administrator. Geoff first met Paul when he was the Tournament Director of the Australian Open Golf Championship in the mid-2000s. 12-year-old Geoff spectated at the 1989 Open and thirty years later when he came back to live in Melbourne as a U.S Open champion an Australian Open champion and twice the winner of the World Match Play he wondered,
“How did I fit into the golf landscape? How could I help out?”

Vision and Mission
To ensure a wide range of young players, boys and girls, can enjoy this wonderful game while they are growing up.
To develop leaders of the future who have learned lifelong and transferable skills from golf.
To see Australia’s next generation of champions on the professional circuit, regardless of their capacity to finance such an endeavour.
